In-Ground Spa
An in-ground Spa is a type of hot tub that is built in the ground, like with a swimming pool. They are usually sold as a pool-spa combo, which makes the setup cheaper. Because of the extra installation work they are generally more expensive, because an in-ground spa needs excavation and extensive plumbing work.
It’s common that you need a licence, you can get a building licence at the city hall.
In-Ground spa’s are usually build from concrete, with a nice overlay, so it doesn’t look like it’s unfinished. An In-ground hot tub don’t really has special seating like we see in normal hot tubs. An In-ground hot tub is usually a big hole in the ground with concrete above it, a lot of space and some bubbles.
In-ground spa’s are usually a lot bigger than normal Jacuzzi’s. While normal Jacuzzi’s can seat from 5-8 people, an in-ground spa can easily have 10-15 people in it.
